Fort Valley - Kathryn G. Clark, 85, went to Heaven on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 11AM on Monday, April 30, 2012, in Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Stubbs officiating. Family will greet friends from 6PM to 8PM on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Rooks Funeral Home, 213 West Church Street in Fort Valley. Born in Brookhaven, Mississippi, to the late James H. and Louella Roberts Garner, Mrs. Clark was retired from BellSouth. A member of First Baptist Church of Fort Valley, she was very dedicated to preparing and teaching Sunday School. After retirement, she helped in the family business called Floral Expressions. Survivors include her children, Brenda C. Brown of Byron, Charlie Clark and Phillip Clark of Fort Valley; grandchildren, Angela and Mark Suddeth of Byron, Jenni Leigh and Jeremy Williams of Warner Robins, Buddy Clark, Ashley Clark, and Hunter Clark, all of Fort Valley; and greatgrandchildren, Kacey and Karly Suddeth, Emma Grace Williams, and Kylie and Madison Leverett. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Clark. Rooks Funeral home in Fort Valley is in charge of arrangements.
